I usually just write what I am doing late at night in this blog. Well, tonight I have a Wagner CD on. It's the 2nd of 4 that make up the Mastersingers box set I have here.
You distinctly have to be in the mood for this kind of heavyweight Classical music. Almost definitely better experienced in the Opera house of which regarding surtitles, I approve.
So there you have it. Grand Opera and blogging, the contemporary choice!

Just chilling out to the above after an Infotaining evening of card pushing.

Just chilling out to this early colour Rom Com which I must have 'taped' on PVR within the last few weeks.
7.5 on IMDb - eminently watchable.
A great and learned man once said to me;

I responded;
"Are you sure! have you checked right to the very bottom? Have you checked them all!"
By this point I had unpeeled myself from the velcro carpet that they seemed to apply to the floors of rock venues and was running round like a scared kitten - this intelligence had me worried, the basic framework of my world was unraveling before my panic stricken eyes!
"What about that one? Or that one, I know it's full of green stuff BUT HAVE YOU CHECKED!" I screamed pointing wildly at the bar causing the bar staff to scuttle for cover as if my wildly brandished finger was a 357 magnum.
"No, no your missing the message what I meant was.."
"WHO SENT THAT MESSAGE THEN EH! WHO HATES ME THAT MUCH!"
And I swear, as I mounted the wise mans lapels and propelled him backwards out of the door I heard one of the barstaff mutter
"anyone that's met you I'd imagine" Bloody cheek. I only went out with her for a week.
Just watching this on PVR while winding down for the evening. High on Feelgood factor.
A great thinker of the pub styleeee tells us why Americans are NOT stupid.
And you could wander into any town centre in the green and septic land and find very very stooopid people and point a camera at them and get the same results...........
but my god Americans make great subjects..........
