A conunderumerumerthingey.

Imagine you are sitting at your computer blogging away, and a vortex opens up next to you. And out of this vortex steps your own self, looking not a lot different to you in terms of age. "You" see you and the vortex born one of you says to the computer tapping one;

"What ever you do, NEVER try time travel"

this other you turns to go back through the vortex, then clasps their chest and drops down dead.

the vortex, which has obviously conveyed this version of you back to yourself is still open.

You look at the dead you, who is not discernibly much older than you are now.

so,

Would you - avoid your own dead body and jump into the votex and see what the hell had happened?

Take your own advice. As judging by the fact that your corpse seems not much older than you are now, maybe you should just not bother with the entire time travel and strange vortex malarky?

Wonder how, in this "credit crunch" era, you are going to sell a house that is already loosing value like the Hindenburg lost passengers when it now has an vastly unstable time vortex in the computer room?

It's a conundrum.

Or an continuum.

Or summink.

I would seriously examine what I was taking that could have that effect on me!

Phone Stephen Hawkins. You have just witnessed parallel universe theory made real and have your corpse as evidence! Fame could be yours, appearance fees... in a celebrity-obsessed culture you stand a good chance of off-setting the losses incurred by your value-plummeting property.

Then again the police could come and bang you up for a crime you didn't commit.

I’d jump.

If curiosity kills the Kibitz ..

Who cares?

Nobody lives for ever.

Seems like you had a bit too much to drink. All these thoughts.... where'd they come up from? *bewildered*

Camera onna stick through the vortex. duh!
And prob best to nudge your corpse through the vortex with said stick as well, as you prob shouldn't go around touching yourself. ahem.
And could you reasonably agree to put off house selling until market is stable? Would get a better price and be better for everyone.
Sometime women can be sensible about these things.... not always tho :(

Selling the house has now become a whole lot easier.

In the description can now be...

"Dustman-strike-beating waste disposal system"...

Well thought!

This is an interesting sci-fi puzzle. I might ask it at a posh dinner party!
